Specialised shows, attractive higher-education relations, communications in the press, on the recruitment platforms or the professional social networks, these actions share staff careers, individual and collective initiatives and more generally all the steps taken by GROUPE IDEC to grow its talents.

A tailor-made integration path

Even before they join GROUPE IDEC, its future talents benefit from a tailor-made integration path that provides them with an overview of their first few months with the company, and a longer-term approach to their possible career path.

By combining a digital platform and face-to-face meetings with a variety of jobs in the group’s various structures and events to enhance integration and cohesion, this approach provides an immersive discovery of the staff’s future working environment.

Structured career paths

As soon as they arrive at GROUPE IDEC, its new talents benefit from a career path that is structured in the light of the various company profiles. At the Engineering level, a GPEC (forward planning of employment and skills) is already applied, to provide all the Division’s activities with prospects of career moves that are structured in the light of the diplomas, experience, seniority or other parameters defined by the Human Resources Department.

As a complement to the forward planning of employment and skills, which is also to be deployed at the level of the group and all its subsidiaries in the coming months, a new Manager training path has just been set up. This long-term accompaniment, which combines face-to-face sessions with individual monitoring and personalised coaching, is aimed at accompanying the company talents in their evolution towards leadership positions, placing them as advisers to their customers, their peers and their teams.

Licence by GROUPE IDEC: the first promotion of diploma holders!

Already deeply involved in training via sandwich courses and close relations between schools and the company, in 2022 GROUPE IDEC launched its training academy in partnership with the CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts) in the Centre-Val-de-Loire Region and the Centre-Val-de-Loire BTP CFA (Training centre for apprentices in the building and civil engineering trades) in Blois.

That Project Management and Works Diploma, Building Information Management Option, recognised by the French State, saw its first diploma holders’ promotion in 2023 on completion of a one-year course, marked by more than 55 hours of training provided by the company staff.
