In an increasingly demanding regulatory context, and in logistics of environmental responsibility, GROUPE IDEC has enhanced its ability to generate qualitative property development by setting up a new subsidiary: FAUBOURG AMENAGEMENT. With a dedicated team that is well versed in development of urban areas, this entity accompanies the public and private players in transformation of unused spaces into attractive zones that generate values and create jobs. The property is then metamorphosed by FAUBOURG PROMOTION and FAUBOURG IMMOBILIER with business or residential building projects.
By giving priority to industrial wasteland or ground that has already been artificialised, FAUBOURG AMENAGEMENT works on programmes that respect the environment, integrating sustainable energy solutions that can be pooled and are designed to house a mix of activities: logistics, industry, and services.

BIODEV, an environmental compensation entity
Set up by GROUPE IDEC in 2023, BIODEV is an entity that is dedicated to environmental compensation of the activities generated by the group or the projects executed for its customers. By planting trees and creating carbon sinks, the company aims to balance the artificialised property areas by setting up biodiversity havens throughout France.
Developing vertically
One of the levers to limit ground artificialisation lies in the ability of GROUPE IDEC and its subsidiary FAUBOURG PROMOTION to develop projects featuring vertical construction. The aim of this approach is to put forward the same functionalities and uses as a traditional project with horizontal development, but featuring a far smaller footprint.
Projects with vertical construction apply to industrial operations, such as the high-quality ophthalmic unit on three levels executed by GROUPE IDEC for ESSILOR LUXOTICA in Wissous (91) and they also respond to the issues of last-mile logistics. As close as possible to the major urban centres, FAUBOURG PROMOTION develops an innovative multiple-level logistical project concept that integrates a wide range of activities (logistics, services, etc.) and low-carbon energy solutions. In the Paris region, Dunkirk or the South of France, these innovative buildings will be put up in the next few months or years.
